Fokida Initiative (FI) was founded in 2003 as a non-profit organisation, an innovative partnership between four local municipalities of the Fokida region -namely Amfissa, Gravia, Delphi and Lidoriki- the local Chamber of Commerce & Industry and S&B Industrial Minerals S.A.

The mission of the Initiative is to foster sustainable development in the Fokida region, to improve the quality of life and to boost socially responsible economic development for the benefit of the local communities.
